Gibson RD Artist - 1977 Not for sale

The first year of this model. These guitars are, generally, not liked but I fell in love with this one when I saw it in a shop in upstate New York (I think it may have been Syracuse). It was late 1977 or early 1978 and the guitar was new. I had to buy it and I think (if my failing memory is correct) it was around $600. Probably not worth much more these days but there are many memories attached to this guitar. It was my main guitar used during the late 1970's and early 1980's. It is still in excellent condition with just some tarnishing of the gold parts.
